Web Designer and Social Media Coordinator
In 2018, I joined the Winter Spirit Committee, a nonprofit organization that brings an annual holiday light display to Locomotive Park in Lewiston, Idaho. The event is made possible through the efforts of hundreds of volunteers and is funded entirely by community donations and local business sponsorships. As a member of the committee, I manage the organization's website and social media presence, helping connect volunteers, donors, sponsors, and the community throughout the year.
I designed and maintain the Winter Spirit website using WordPress and the Divi Builder. The website serves as a central source of information for visitors, volunteers, sponsors, and donors, providing event details, volunteer opportunities, sponsorship information, and updates throughout the season.
Facebook serves as Winter Spirit's primary communication platform, reaching more than 3,900 followers. I create and manage content throughout the year, including volunteer recruitment, sponsor recognition, event promotion, community updates, and seasonal announcements. My goal is to keep the community informed while celebrating the volunteers and businesses that make Winter Spirit possible.
